A Hopeful Heart: Kim Vogel Sawyer

I'm currently reading this book. I've checked it out a few weeks ago, but never got around to reading it. Basically, the main character is twenty-two years old Tressa Neill. She applied to Wyatt Herdsman School located in Kansas. The program teaches young women from the East skills needed to become a rancher, or wife of one. Tressa is shy and small and she believes that she will never have what it takes to learn the skills needed to be a rancher's wife such as milking cows, branding a calf, riding horses, and cooking up a good meal for the hungry ranchers. But what other options does she have?
Abel Samms wants nothing to do with the group of potential brides his neighbor brought to town. He was smitten with an eastern girl once--and he got his heart broken. But there's something about quiet Tressa and her bumbling ways that makes him take notice. When Tressa's life is endangered, will Abel risk his own life--and his heart--to help this eastern girl?

I've only just started on this book today while I was in my Econ class and I must say, this book has caught my interest. Of course, the cover itself caught my attention, but Kim Sawyer is an exceptional author when it comes to tying down romance and putting your trust in God. :)
