4 More Minutes...

I've been keeping an entry about my exercising routine and I must say, I'm doing pretty good so far. I've worked 4 more extra minutes than I did yesterday. I've also been watching what I eat and that is hard to do when all I want to do is munch on some chocolate candies. An Apple a day is what I need. I tell myself, one pound a day is a good goal each day to lose and I'm aiming to lose at least 12 more pounds.
I've got a secret weapon to help motiviate myself and thank goodness that I do.

Well, other than my exercising entry, I'm almost done with reading Numbers. I'm on chapter 34, just two more chapters then I'm done. What I found interesting in Chapter 30 was, "If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oath and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. But if her husband nullifies them when he hears about them, then none of the vows or pledges that came from her lips will stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the Lord will release her. Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself." This is the same way between a father and his daughter too.
I am a pretty stubborn lady when me and Yor are discussing things and I don't back down. This just opens my eyes to see how it was back in Moses' time (which still applies today) between a relationship between a man and woman, and a father and daughter. ^_^  In other words, I better watch what I say and promise to myself and more importantly be obediant.

I would like to discuss this with Yor and my dad soon. :)

Praises and Glory go to God.
